Hardware requirements
While technical requirements are not mandatory, it is highly recommended that your infrastructure meets at least the minimum requirements detailed below.
If your Delegate makes it into the block producers' pool but is not ready or powerful enough to generate blocks on time, it will be "probed" by the network for six blockchain epochs, during which it will not earn any reward.

One main server and one (or more) backup servers, all running behind a firewall, is the suggested configuration to provide continuous operation of your node. This is incredibly convenient when upgrading your node software.
